BIMy Building Information Modelling in City (ITEA3)

ITEA Award of Excellence 2021 – Most Innovative Project

The ITEA project BIMy learned how Building Information Modelling (BIM) can be used and exploited beyond its normal use, and how the integration of BIM and geographic information systems (GIS) can be improved. It created a shared space for digital representations of construction projects in their environments, enabling collaboration between multiple stakeholders within the Smart City domain and paving the road for new applications. This international collaborative research project received the ITEA Award of Excellence for Innovation.

ITEA Award of Excellence for Business Impact - 2018

Golden Ant-Most innovative Project Award - 2018 (among municipalities in Marmara Region of Turkey)

The project developed a cloud platform based on existing technologies and applications, as well as new products for the Smart Cities market. The project was strengthened by the involvement of the cities of Brussels, Kortrijk, Kouvola, Oulu and the Municipality of Pendik (a district of Istanbul).
